The BBQ (pulled pork) there was amazing. The brisket was tender. We loved the fried pork rinds but they need to work on their Cole slaw.
Out of all the BBQ places I've been to in the US and world wide, never ever have I ever....NEVER EVER...found a place that the chicken was just as good or better than the brisket. I was more confused about what I wanted to eat, the brisket or the chicken. I had the Corn bread...#sosoftandsweet. The brisket and half chicken platter with Beans and Mac and cheese. I only wish they would have fresh cooked it for me and had it ready seconds before I arrived so I can ask them to put ladle fulls of mac and cheese and pour it in my mouth. It was sooooo good! I'm also happy they had a favorite dish, Carolina Gold Wings, a MUST MUST TRY! I'm a huge fan now, thank you so much, THIS is exactly what I needed!
Had a great experience here last night with my family and friends. We ordered one of their combos and were pleasantly surprised with the flavor and portions that we received. Each combo is generously served with 2 sides, and we opted for the mac and cheese and fried okra. Both delicious in my opinion even through Okra is not typically something I would care to eat. Smoked BBQ chicken and brisket were flavorful, and the cornbread was so good that we ordered an additional portion before leaving. Location is great for those in the area especially near Norfolk Naval or even the ODU campus. Will be back in the future to try their burgers.
Tried this place for the first time. For my beverage I ordered a Bloody Mary with warm brisket in it. Amazingly good. I ordered the traditional burger with Mac and cheese. Burger was juicy and fresh and the Mac and cheese was the BEST I have ever had!! I would definitely recommend trying this place if you’re in the mood for BBQ. (The staff was also friendly, attentive and the food came out quick) I will definitely be back! Update: I returned and tried the brisket and pulled pork sandwich. Really delicious and would give another 5 star review! The brisket and Mac n cheese are the best! Service was quick and super friendly. A must try if you like BBQ.

Great service from NADIA tonight!! 1st visit and the wings in the Carolina Gold were tender & juicy with a fresh side salad w/ranch! The half rack ribs were really good too - meaty & falling off the bones! Will definitely return to try the brisket & half chicken!
Amazing restaurant new to Norfolk. I love bbq and this place definitely does not let you down. I can't believe I ate it all but it was worth the effort. The smoked flavor is through and through the meat. The corn bread is amazing ... There is nothing I could say to anyone who is thinking about eating here other than do it... I don't usually give 5 stars but Texas has come to Hampton roads!!!!
What an amazing experience. I got the ribs and brisket. It came with two sides and we also got the loaded bbq nachos. I have loved other bbq spots in Norfolk but this place was insane. So good. The food was so good, so perfect, and kept me full for hours. Wonderful prices for those huge servings. The waitress was great and the place was very clean. I definitely recommend getting the rib combo with brisket. The Mac and cheese was fine but the fries were hot and seasoned well and the coleslaw was perfect. I am wanting to return again soon. All of this food plus drinks for only 39.
